No didn't hear that debate, but I can imagine I've heard others. The British Medical Association has tried to ban boxing for years. They wanted to bring in head gear, then they wanted (get this) to reduce fights to body shots only! They don't get it. If they want to stop concussive punches they should take away gloves altogether not make them bigger with head gear that just allows harder punches and spreads the concussive effects.
I used to write on boxing and I've had this argument a hundred times. It's middle class people commenting from the outside on a working class phenomenon that they don't understand. I could rant on but It'll get very boring very quickly.

And Mr. Jordan? Lost his b*ll*cks a while back and needs to find them a bit lively. But if they're where I think they are he'll never see them again...
