Iam real suprised that Rampage has chosen to take on Rashad and coach tuf 10 instead of facing machida for the title but this leaves a vacancy at 205 who will challenge Lyoto what with Forrest Griffin fighting Anderson Silva and Shogun Ruas run of form any ideas

It wouldn't surprise me if Shogun get's a shot, although he definately wouldn't be deserving of it. Perhaps even a last hurrah for Chuck (unless if course he produces a huge upset).

Both doubtful, but with the belt changing hands so often in the light heavyweight division of late, I think Dana wants to ensure some stability before building towards some super fights involving Machida and may therefore offer up some weaker opposition.

On this basis, Louis Cane may be a consideration.

I would have considered the possibility of Dana having signed top class fighter from a different organisation, but the UFC already has all of the top light heavyweights so that's highly unlikely unless he is getting someone who will move up in weight.

Cung Le v Machida would be a great match up, but I feel I'm living in dream land.

I really don't have a clue, if I had to put money on it I would say Rua, but it's anyone's guess.

i really hope it isnt rua i dont think he is deserving of a shot.
i had a thought the other day i was trying to think of the last time machida had been taken down and i couldnt remember when we saw his ground game .
This made me think who in the 205 division could really test him striking and maybe take him down.Then it hit me what about captain america it is very unlikely but what if Randy Coutore could drop to 205 and face machida. if not why not forrest griffin after the silva fight
