I know it's more an individual fitness issue but is there an age when perhaps the gloves should be hung up? Late 40s? 50? I know you get these blokes at their dojo running through their katas at seventy two and stuff but MMA?
I reckon - carry on till you drop (he says pushing 40 ) but what do you chaps think?

Yeah I think that if its something you enjoy keep going! You dont have to be really young to enjoy MMA, Look at Randy Couture.. he is 46 and still fit as a fiddle and an absolute ledgend when it comes to mma!
I know I ll still be enjoying the sport for as long as I possibly can! At the end of the day, who cares what anyone thinks, if I wanted to do something I loved doing, I would carry on regardless of my age, I would just perhaps take it slightly easier as I got older.

Age is just a number. We're all different and the damage caused by fights will affect everyone differently.
If you can be competative, continue to improve and are not risking your long term health by fighting then there's no reason to quit.
