This week's fight between James McSweeney and Wes Shivers was terrible.

Both fighters gassed earlier on and neither fighter dominated.

I would've liked to have seen it go to a third round but the judges seemed to think McSweeney did enough to win it though and he was declared the winner.

Glad the Brit made it through but can't say I agree with the judges decision.

His only success was with a couple of leg kicks which I think were more than balanced out by Shivers' takedowns and submission attempts.

Looking forward to next week's episode though as the fight as already been announced...

Kimbo Slice v Roy Nelson!

Just watched Big Counrty vs Slice.

Kind of as expected for me. Kimbo really shouldn't have gone for that knee in round 2. I'll have no doubt that he'll have another fight this season. Someone always gets injured

Very disappointed with the fight between Kimbo and Nelson this week

I thought Kimbo started well and looked to be able to defend Nelson's takedown attempts but then the inevitable happened and the fight went to the ground.

Kimbo was lucky not have the fight stopped at the end of the first round and once he got taken to the ground again in the second it was more of the same.

No real complaints about the stoppage as it didn't look like Kimbo could escape from the crusifix the Nelson had got him in.

That said the punches Nelson was landing were very tame and didn't really cause any damage. Against a bigger opponent he would have really struggled to have kept them pinned down despite his girth.

I think Kimbo will of course be the first fighter brought back into the house in the event of an injury to other fighters and hopefully it'll be a more exciting fight next time.

Ye, I was pretty surprised it didn't get stopped at the end of the 1st round. Although weak, it was a lot of unanswered punches and kimbo was never getting out of that crucifix.

Fairly certain that knee injury to the guy, who's name I've forgotten, will bring him back but hopefully not before he gets some ground game.

Like Tom said, kimbo's totally different than I thought
