Hey Spuggie, welcome to the forum!

Do you have any MMA gyms local to you? I'm very similar to you, I recently started MMA training with only a little bit of boxing experience behind me. I am out of shape, both fitness and weight wise.

Training is super intense but I already feel like I've learnt a lot on the ground in only a few sessions and my fitness will no doubt improve sharpish.

I suggest you get down you local asap

Thanks for joining. Feel free to ask any questions etc, there are some great guys on here with great experience and advice.

Hi Spuggie,

Welcome to the forum mate,

as Jarrod said really, I have also just started MMA training and im 27 so you are at a great age i think to start. I think you should def get invoved yourself and maybe if you start and get more into it, that might even give you the wheelpower and reason to stop smoking and get in shape anyway.

What area you from? maybe we can recommend some clubs in your area?

Welcome to the club fella. Firstly stop smoking, or cut down slowly

Hi Spuggie,

Once you start and begin to feel the benefits, which will be huge initially given your age, it will be a massive incentive to quit smoking.

Best of luck, I know it isn't easy!
