Default A brief Introduction...

Hi All, I just wanted to shout about my new class that I am starting in Shrewsbury.

Spartan MMA

We are doing a 1 hour mma session per week with the view to expand the amount of classes when word gets around.

Doug Wildman & myself are the instructors, Doug is a blackbelt in kickboxing and I have a black belt in jiu jitsu. We both train at Gladiator Gym with Ross Pointon when we get the chance. We have also both recently been selected to represent England at the ISKA European Championships being held in Rome this coming October.

The classes are going to be targeted towards students wishing to compete at amateur and semi-pro level competitions.

Any advice on do's & don'ts would be really appreciated.

Cheers guys
Andy

Hey Andy, thanks for joining.

Your website looks great, best of luck with the classes. I'm sure you'll find some students on here if you stick around. Also, I'm sure you could be a great help on here by answering some of the technique questions that get asked by new fighters etc.

Hope to see you around here a bit more!

Thanks for all the responses!

Classes are going well, we have now just moved into our new premisis. We've got a 2000sq ft unit which we have matted out. We also had Ian Freeman here to do a bit of a grand opening and seminar.. He is a fantastic person to have for a seminar, his teaching style is excellent and everyone really enjoyed it.

I'm training full tilt now for my comp in Rome. Final squad training next Saturday..

Oh well, train hard...
