Default Hi to all

Hi everyone,
Thought id say a quick hello,
Kenny here, im a 21year old fighter, with 2years experiance, fighting out of Shudan Dojo in Wellingborough, Northants.
I keenly follow UFC, and want to get into Pride and K1 but due to work, girlfriend, and obvioulsy training 5 nights a week (2 at dojo 3 at gym) i dont have the energy to follow them.
Anyways great to be here, hopefully i can contribute some value.

Kenny

P.s. on an off note im flying to LA in OCtober to watch UFC 104 and if anyone else is going or has any tips or advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Kenny! Thanks for the intro and welcome to the forum!

Good to have another fighter on-board, there is a good mix of members who fight so you should be able to pick up some good tip etc from the training section and obviously help our members with any tips you have!

Have you had any amateur/pro fights yet?

I really want to go to the US to watch UFC, lucky guy! You'll have a great time I'm sure, is it your first time out there to watch it? A few of us on here have spoke about meeting up at UFC 105 this year in England.

Thanks again for joining and hope to see you around some more!

hey guys thanks for the warm welcome.
In answer to a few qus - have only had one am fight at the moment though the next year looks like its going to be my break through year.

Fav current fighter either (and im sorry for the unoriginality) but GSP or Anderson Silva just because of the pure carisma and natural skill they both have.
All time fighter (and again probably not the best answer) but Muhammed Ali or helio gracie, not really based on fighting ability (although they were both gods in the ring) but there affect on the sport and what they did for them, and especially Helio, a man that can take a martial art, make it his own and then have his teaching honoured and respected worldwide through out the sport has to be respected!

I will defo be snapping and videoing everything i can whilst out there, i've got a few classes booked at legends mma, so will hopefully come back with some stories. Ill have my laptop so ill keep you guys posted whilst im out there.

LMFAO Lofty and Dave.. You 2 are like double act! lol

Good choice with the fighters Kenny, same reason I picked mine really, not because they are neccessary the best but because I like them for their characters and their influences in sport.

Make sure you keep posting so you reach 150 posts, then you can take a nice MMAForum T Shirt with you for when you train at Legends MMA. That is gonna be awesome!!!!!
