Hey,

Welcome. I can't give much advice as right now I'm just training in muay thai (I plan to start BJJ in summer for a bit then move on to mma).

I know you've only had 2 sessions, but how're you finding it with no background? The place I'm gonna hopefully join asks that you have experience in striking and ground stuff before you start, but maybe that's just them.

Do you watch much MMA?

Glad to hear you're enjoying it so far

thanks for the welcome.

the first couple of lessons ive been to, we've mainly concentrated on the basics, like mounts and guards, ive found the instructors and the lads that train there to be really helpful, im picking everything up pretty well i hope, the lack of experience doesnt really seem to be a problem.
i do watch quite a lot of mma, but just on tv. hoping to go watch some live soon though, just not sure where. do you watch much?

hows the muay thai? thats meant to be a real good base for mma isnt it?
