I was disappointed when the David Haye Vs Vladimir Klitschko fight was called off. Haye was doing a lot of trash talk in the build up and I wanted to see if he could back up what he was saying in the ring. But it got cancelled.

I thought it was a bit of a step too far if I'm honest. I rate Haye a lot, he's extremely fast and has the power to back it up, still not 100% sure on his chin though, especially stepping up to heavyweight and looking to step straight in with a fighter who has dominated the best in that division. So I wasn't sure if how he'd manage.

Anyway... as I'm sure most of you have read he's now fighting Valuev, who is even more of a monster than Klitschko in the size department, measuring in at 7 ft 2, dwarfing Haye's 6ft 3"!! It should be an entertaining fight if nothing else. I'm losing interest in boxing thesedays, unless a fight grabs my attention and this one definitely has. Heavyweight bouts are either explosive or extremely slow and dull. I'm hoping Haye can make this one a bit more explosive and not 12 rounds of cuddling!

What do you guys think the result will be?

i really think and hope haye smashes valuev uses that speed advantage he has with both hand and foot and makes him look silly

I think if Haye is going to win it'll be on points as Valuev has never even been knocked down.
