what does everyone think the outcome of this fight will be?
even tho barrera has come out of retirement for this fight, I think hes a clear winner. the only way khan can win this is on points! i just hope a certain person hasn't sorted barerra & co out with a little back-hander so that he fights to be beaten. it seems strange to throw khan straight back in to the ring with someone of barerra's quality and experience. beating barerra would obviously give khan's name a big boost and get his reputation back to a similar level as it was before the prescott fight which is obviously what a certain person needs. khan is about his only big ticket fighter at the moment. i actually think a similar thing might have happened in the mario kindelan fight that he won before turning pro. put it this way... i wouldn't be surprised if khan "amazingly" wins tonight on points, just for his work-rate or something like that. i can't see barerra agreeing to being ko'd. whats everyone elses think? |

Yeah you're exactly right Pel. He can't really win either way in a lot of peoples eyes.
I've never really been a big Khan fan. I mean I'll always support the guy as he's one of our best but he is way too chinny to be a true great which is a bit of a shame. At the end of the day when you step up to the top ranks you need to be able to take a punch and I don't think he can. He was rocked by Earl who is European standard IMO and that's not a good sign! On the other end of the scale you have the Barerra type, who have a cast iron chin! True Mexican. And Khan is way off that standard. Will be an interesting one to watch! |
