Default MMA Training On Hold...For Now

I was going to start training next week but...

I broke my wrist

Going to have to wait a little longer Although at 32, how much longer can I leave it

See thats the trouble when you get OLD!! your bones get brittle!! LOL

Maybe you should stick to just talking and watching MMA, otherwise it might be your hip that brakes next! hahahahahahaha............

No way

That's savage, however do you have a local club which will let you use their bags for kicking techniques? Do loads of leg training while your upper body can't do much and sit-ups etc. Get yourself strong in those areas that you can. Running also as you need good cardio etc.

I train in a fighting gym which has a big free weight section, cable and cardio machines. Also has a huge matted area, ring, bags etc and all is useable through the day.

Lmao Perry

I fell down some stairs in a pub I'd had a couple but wasn't drunk. The steps are quite precarious and having misplaced my footing I opted to leap the rest rather than break my neck, landed badly and my wrist took most of the impact.

Feel stupid, but nothing I can do about it now.

I'll be doing everything I can to get in shape in the meantime, turning the negatives into positives.

Nice to hear. Some people tend to give up on all aspects because of an injury and end up putting on weight and then it's twice as hard after.

Not much I can do other than stomach crunches at the moment.
