Same as I put here fella. For All Your Supplement Needs

LAMuscle do a 2.2kg tub for £53.99 but it lasts for ages and their flavours taste good. Which is handy as I'm a bit picky when it comes to protein drinks.

It's definately worked for me. You can buy single sachets of the flavours if you want to try them before ordering too.

There are so many companies out there and it really depends on which type of protein you are looking for. Fast, slow, a blend. I can explain in more detail if you want me too.

I personally use myprotein.co.uk because it is a bulk supplier and is very cheap for good products.
The best tasting products and IMO the best premium supplement company is PHD (the protein is pharmawhey).
Other very good premium companies are SciMX, CNP, BSN and reflex.

LA Muscle are good, as are maximuscle, but I believe both are quite expensive.

There is so much out there beyond basic whey protein or even protein in general. If you want any other info just give me a bell.
There are some awesome all in one post workout products which are awesome for fighters, as well as pre-workout, MRP and others.

What creatine would you recommend?

I havent been using mine for about 1 month now as im haveing a break from it. I use the tablet form, 3 before the after, cant remember the make.

I was looking into a creatine that 'drip feeds' your body it, angain cant remember what its called.

I dont use supplements really. Only my Reflex Whey Protein (stawberry flavour yum yum lol)

With creatine, the best source apparently is called Kre-alkalyn which is instantly absorbed and 100% bioavailable meaning none of it is wasted in the system. But it isn't seen often and is expensive. It has no bloating/puffiness effects. Bear in mind though creatine as a whole has NO negative health effects at all and is safe for continuous use.

In my opinion you wont lose anything by going for creatine monohydrate in unflavoured powder form. Its as good as anything and is the cheapest. I wouldn't worry about loading it, or buying any flavoured creatine drinks. I use reflex creapure.

Just add 5g to your whey shake pre-training and 5g again post training with some carbs (complex like fruit or oats pre workout, simple carbs like dextrose, waxy maize or white bread post workout). The thing with creatine is its already in your body so if you use it sparingly its unlikely to make an impact. You have to saturate your body with it then once it overspills it makes a difference. Thats why the tubs specify loading phases. But IMO if you train enough 4 times a week plus and follow my settings, you will get the desired effect pretty quickly.

Having carbs with Creatine is pretty much required as the insulin spike assists also.

You can stick it in your shake, or do what I do and just scoop it dry into my mouth and swig water to wash it down. Takes getting used to but in my past years in a quest for protein as an out of control beginner, I used to drink liquidised tuna and alsorts so im hardened to it!
