Yeah it was a battle! Jardine had it till the last minute too.

I was well impressed with Carwin. Did you see the short film before the fight about how hard he trains etc? He drives for like 2 hours to train at one place, then 2 hours to somewhere else then onto a third place and finally gets home at something like 9.30 in the evening. EVERY DAY!!! I find it hard driving myself 5mins round the corner to go to the gym! lol

I think he is seriously one to watch out for!! insainly powerfull!!

Joe, I might do another one for Ultimate Fight Night (on 2nd April) so you'll have a chance for early payback! Not many big fights though, so will be a tough one to call.

Back to UFC 96 though... I was also impressed with Carwin! I knew he could bang but didn't know whether he could bang with the big boys. Knocking Gonzaga out with a half-loaded cross kind of proves he can! So that begs the question, could anyone out there handle a fully-loaded Carwin cross, hook, uppercut or haymaker??!! I very much doubt it!

What do you guys think about Lesnar Vs Carwin? Surely a UFC 100 fight!

carwin has HEAVY hands! i predicted this guy to with by ko but in round 2. he is guna be BIG in the ufc and mma. guys got good wrestling skills too. only thing is gonzaga seemed to rock him a bit early on with a punch on the button, so not sure what his chins like.
